Avery Turns 4 (last July! )

Yes, I am really far behind in my posts. I am attempting to catch up now. My little Avery turned 4 back in July! I can't believe it! At her 4 year well check she weighed 28 lbs, and in the 4th %-tile. She's a petite little girl, but makes up for her size in her personality. Avery loves dressing up, and often layers multiple dresses because she can't decide which one to wear. She loves having her hair done and is very patient with me when I do it. She loves Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Care Bears, and ALL the Disney Princesses. Her favorite food is chocolate :) She requested a Rapunzel birthday party. Here are some pictures from the exciting event!!! She was also lucky enough to have her great-grandfather visiting from Brazil. She instantly fell in love with him and 6 months later is still talking about how much she misses him and great-grandma (who came a week after her birthday).

My attempt at some paper lanterns :)

Gulf Coast Alabama

This summer we took a trip down to the gulf coast. We spent a week in Fort Morgan Alabama.

The men and Jessica took a day and went deep sea fishing. They had so much fun and caught a ton of fish. There was a restaurant right there at the docks that cooked the fish 2 ways for us. It was delicious and we took the rest home and enjoyed it for months! The big catches were red snapper and king mackeral.

The water was warm, the beaches were clean, and it was just a short walk from our condo. The kids had a blast going to the beach and pool everyday. They loved being able to spend all that time with their cousins from Colorado and Arizona.

Dinner and a Show

A few nights ago, Jesse and I were treated to a puppet show by Ethan and Avery. I have to say it made absolutely NO sense, but we were cracking up the entire time! These guys are the cutest kids ever! They had so much fun, I am looking forward to many more of these!

Jesse's Latest Invention

For a while now Jesse has been dreaming of this creation. He wanted to make it easier to wakeboard with Ethan. And make it so that Ethan won't slip around and off the board. So he took his old wakeboard and and old pair of bindings and attached them on the inside of his bindings. He is so excited, now only if it will get warm enough to go!!!!
