What's New?

Apparantly Avery has "Body Dismorphic Disorder". Don't worry though, I think it's a made up disorder that means that she doesn't realize how big/small her body is. She REALLY wants to be small enough to fit inside her "little people" school bus, no pun intended. It was extremely cute watching her try.

Ethan has been learning to write his name. He pretty much picked it up on his own. I didn't really work with him that much. Whenever he would finish an "art project", I would write his name on it, and occasionally I would ask him if he could copy the letters of his name underneath my example. Pretty soon he would be asking me what letters come in his name, he can't always remember then all, but he knows how to write each letter. Sometimes they are not in order, but he's only 3 1/2! I am pretty proud of him. He will start preschool in September. The other day he got in trouble, and so he asked me for some paper so that he could make me a card to cheer me up. On the paper he traced his hand, and wrote OSO MOM, he told me that OSO was for "Oh SO Special" (he's been watching the new Disney channel show Special Agent Oso), and then he signed his name. It just melted me heart, the boy is so sweet! I told him I was definitely cheered up, and that he was definitely off the hook!

He did this completely on his own, I just helped him make the lines a little darker so that the picture would turn out.

These are the joys of motherhood!

As I am writing this post, Avery came to show me her "new outfit". She found a pair of swim shorts and decided to wear them. She put the waist over her head and her body is in one of the legs. Isn't she beautiful!? She's so proud of herself.

I can't believe Ethan can write his own name. Logan can't even write any of his letters. Keep up the good work!

OSO is also Kaden's favorite new show. When I ask Kaden how to spell his name he replies with O-S-O. I am glad your boy knows the difference :)

Seriously he has great penmanship! Wow. Carson's is like a chicken scratch :0) Thanks for your comments about my precious little girl! The A in her name is pronounced like the a in apple-Avenlee. Same sound as the movie Ann of Avonlee...just prettier spelling :o) and we call her Avee for short (that A is pronounce like the a in agent). Are you confused yet.....I am! Apparently i don't know which is a short or long A. I do science, not english :0)

Super cute kiddo's. Wish you lived close. Are you guys going to come visit anytime soon?
